AshantiGold earned their first victory of the season after mounting a comeback 4-2 victory over Elmina Sharks at the Len Clay Sports stadium.

The Fearsome Sharks went ahead inside three minutes after goalkeeper Robert Dabuo made a howler leading to an easy finish for Bernard Boateng.
In the second half, the Miners were more inspired and equalised in the 47th minute via a direct free kick from Appiah McCarthy.
After the hour mark, Dacosta Boadu netted a double to give the Miners a cushion.

Benjamin Tweneboah gave Elmina Sharks hope with his goal in the 85th minute but David Abagna settled things with a close range effort in the 92nd minute.
AshantiGold are now 7th on the log and Elmina Sharks are 6th.
