Samartex coach Nurudeen Amadu is already looking forward to their game against Raja Casablanca after seeing off Victoria United to advance in the CAF Champions League first preliminary game.

The Timber giants secured a 2-0 aggregate victory over Victoria United to set up a tie with Morocco giants Raja Casablanca.

Samartex secured a 1-0 in both legs to advance in the next stage of the qualifications as they to make it to the group stage.

The Ghana champions will host Raja Casablanca at the Accra Sports Stadium in September before the reverse fixture in the North African country.

Speaking to the media, Nurudeen Amadu admitted Raja Casablanca is a tough opponent but affirmed his outfit will give them a match of their lives.

“We need to grow and be tactically awake a little more. We have certain things that we shouldn’t be doing at this stage. It’s a young team but we need to grow”

He continued, “We anticipate a very tough side because Raja is an experienced team, they are experienced in the Champions League but we will give them a match of their lives”
