If the deal is finalized, the forward will replace Ghana striker Jordan Ayew who parted with Crystal Palace to sign for Leicester City a few days ago.

Reports last week went rife that Eddie Nketiah will be joining Nottingham Forest this summer after agreeing personal terms with the club.

In a latest development, the talented forward’s potential move to Nottingham Forest has hit a snag following a break down in agreement between both clubs.

A deal worth up to £30million ($39.6m) was in place between the Premier League clubs but the 25-year-old will not be joining Forest.

Meanwhile, Nketiah is expected to leave Arsenal before the summer transfer window closes.

Nketiah has been a subject of interest for several clubs including Marseille and the Premier League club as both teams aim to bolster their attack for the 2024/25 campaign.

The English international of Ghanaian descent wants to leave Arsenal for consistent game time, having struggled to compete for a place in the starting lineup of the London club.
