Ghana Premier League outfit Dreams FC made light of lower-tier club Home Stars FC in a preseason friendly match on Wednesday.

The Still Believe outfit walloped the Division One League club 3-0 at the Bwoodin Sports Complex as they gear up preparation for the new season.

Goals from Derrick Atta Agyei, Jonathan Nemorden, and Prince Amoafo were enough for the former CAF Confederation Cup semifinalist to secure victory in the match.

With two weeks to start the new campaign, the former Ghana FA Cup champions has stepped up preparation as they seek to make impact in the league.

The Still Believe lads faced challenges in the Ghana Premier League despite their exploits in the CAF Confederation Cup, where they reached the semifinals and now determined for a descent season.

The 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season will commence on September 6, with Dreams FC expected to host defending champions Samartex at the Tuba Astro Turf in Kasoa.

Meanwhile, the friendly will also serve as a good preparatory game for Home Stars FC, who are gearing up for the Division One league. They will compete in Zone 3 of the Ghanaian second-tier competition.
