Ghana forward Inaki Williams scores as Athletic Bilbao beat Racing Santander in preseason friendly
Ghana international Inaki Williams was on target for Athletic Bilbao in their 2-1 win over Racing Santander in a preseason friendly.
The Black Stars forward was called to action on Wednesday when his outfit locked horns with Racing Santander at the Estadio Nuevo Lasesarre.
Williams opened the scoring for the Basque in the 39th minute as they went to the halftime break with the advantage.
After recess, Athletic Bilbao found the back of the net again to extend their lead in the preparatory game. Canales wasted no time to score his outfit second goal of the match after hitting the back of the net, one minute into the second half.
Racing Santander managed to pull one back in the 69th minute through Yeray Cabanzon as the game ended 2-1 in favour of Athletic Bilbao.
The Ghanaian international has been an integral member of the Athletic Bilabo team since making his debut for the club in 2015.
He was instrumental for the club last season and will be looking forward to make an impact in the upcoming season.
