Dutch-born Ghanaian forward Jayden Addai was the star of the show as Jong AZ Alkmaar cruised to a commanding 6-1 win against Roda JC Kerkrade in the Dutch Eerste Divisie on Monday evening.
Jayden Addai's impressive performance included two goals and an assist, helping his team to a dominant victory.
Jong AZ Alkmaar set the tone early, with Van Bommel creating the first big chance just three minutes in. The breakthrough came after fifteen minutes when Zeefuik opened the scoring, following a brilliant pass from Dutch-born Ghanaian goalkeeper Rome-Jayden Owusu-Oduro.
Jayden Addai quickly doubled the lead with a long shot that found the net via a deflection. He added his second goal in the second half, skillfully cutting inside to score Jong AZ's fifth goal. The victory was sealed with a final goal from captain Jorn Berkhout.
Despite a brief response from Roda JC, Jong AZ's relentless attack secured a comprehensive win. They will face FC Den Bosch in their next league game.
