I regret engaging in womanizing – Asamoah Gyan

Former Ghana international, Asamoah Gyan, has revealed that he used to engage in womanizing but admits he regrets indulging himself in the act.

Speaking about his life lessons and regrets on Onua TV, Gyan advised the youth against womanizing, using himself as an example.

"Everybody is a womanizer, but womanizing did not help me. I will advise partners to keep their issues between themselves," the former Black Stars skipper said.

Asamoah Gyan, who had been married since 2013, officially divorced his wife in 2023 after the court annulled the union on October 31, 2023.

He has three kids with his ex-wife, Gifty, who claimed custody of the children, while Asamoah Gyan is obligated to pay child support.

Gyan, who retired in June 2023 remains the country's all-time leading goalscorer and Africa's top goalscorer in the history of the World Cup.

Asamoah Gyan began his playing career at Liberty Professionals and also played for Udinese, Stade Rennes, Sunderland, Al Ain, Shanghai SIPG, Kayserispor, NorthEast United and Lego Cities.
