Ibrahim Tanko: I will not apply friends and cronies in my line of duties

Deputy Coach of the senior national team of Ghana and head of the Black Meteors team, Ibrahim Tanko has disclosed that he will discharge his national duty without bias.

According to the former Cameron national team assistant coach, applying friends and cronies with the job given as Black Meteors head coach will be out of his duties. A such no one can influence him for selection.Rather offer opportunity to Ghanaian players who deserve it.

"I know my job and I would not use friends and cronies to discharge my duty" Only players who can help me and the nation will be handed a call up", he told Cape FM.

Ibrahim invited 23-players to camp ahead of Africa U-23 Championship qualifiers.Ghana will face Togo in the first round of the championship in two legged affairs.
