Maxwell Konadu to sign three-year contract with Black Leopards

Former Ghana Assistant Coach, Maxwell Konadu, has signed a three-year deal with South African second-tier club, Black Leopards.

The club’s Chairman, Tshifhiwa Thidiela, confirmed Konadu’s appointment on Tuesday as they aim to regain promotion to the South African top flight.

The 51-year-old is set to fly to South Africa within the week and complete the necessary formalities and sign his contract as new Black Leopards.

Maxwell Konadu, who has vast experience coaching in Ghana with national teams and clubs, last coached Nsoatreman FC who he won the MTN FA Cup just over a week ago.

The former Black Stars assistant coach was set to lead the club to a first ever participation in the CAF Confederation Cup courtesy of their FA Cup victory.

With his departure, Nsoatreman FC is now actively searching for a replacement to helm the team as they gear up for their maiden campaign in the CAF Confederation Cup.
