Tarkwa MCE and Chiefs to deliberate on renaming TnA Sports Stadium

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Tarkwa, Benjamin Kessie, has announced plans for a discussion with local chiefs (nananom) regarding a potential change in the name of the recently constructed TnA Sports Stadium.

This revelation came to light following a stakeholder meeting focused on the stadium.

The stadium, which will serve all football clubs in Tarkwa and its surrounding areas, has been praised for its impressive infrastructure. Kessie expressed his gratitude to Goldfields Ghana Limited for their role in the construction of the facility.

However, the MCE also acknowledged certain concerns raised by the chiefs about the naming of the stadium and other related matters. He emphasized the need for a boardroom meeting to address these issues, stating, "We are also of the view that we have to meet at the boardroom to iron out some differences nananom raised concerns about naming the facility and other stuff which I think are laudable so we will meet at the boardroom and see how to go about those issues."

Kessie concluded by expressing his confidence in the people of Tarkwa to utilize the stadium for the benefit of the community. He reiterated the collective gratitude towards Goldfields Ghana Limited for their contribution to the town's infrastructure.
