Glasgow City midfielder Hayley Lauder has earned her first Scotland call-up in three years as a late replacement for the Women's Nations League double header against Belgium and England.

It follows the withdrawal of AC Milan's Christy Grimshaw, who was substituted near the end of Saturday's 1-0 derby loss to Internazionale.

The 33-year-old Lauder, who has 103 caps, scored twice in reigning champions Glasgow City's 3-1 win over Dundee United in the Scottish Women's Premier League on Sunday.

However, she last played for Scotland in a 2-1 Pinatar Cup win over Northern Ireland in March 2020 and has never played under current head coach Pedro Martinez Losa.

The Spaniard is already without two key midfielders - Real Madrid's Caroline Weir and Manchester United's Emma Watson - through long-term injury.

His side face Belgium away from home on Friday before hosting England at Hampden Park four days later.

Scotland, bottom of Group A with one point, must win both matches to have a chance of avoiding relegation at the end of the inaugural competition.
