WAFU U-20 Cup of Nations: Asante Kotoko youngster Augustine Adjapong named in final Black Satellites squad
Asante Kotoko youngster Augustine Adjapong has been named in the final Black Satellites squad for the upcoming WAFU U-20 Cup of Nations in Niger.
The full-back has made the final cut after Karim Zito trimmed down his numbers to a maximum of 20 players ahead of their tournament opener in a few days.
It will be the first taste of a junior tournament football for Adjapong who joined the Porcupine Warriors ahead of the season from a lower-tier side and has been phenomenal for for the club stating a claim in coach Prosper Ogum’s first XI.
The tournament will be held in Niamey from May 7 – May 20, 2022.
Black Satellites will be vying for a place at the 2023 U-20 AFCON to be held in Egypt.
