2023/24 Ghana Premier League: Week 33 Match Report - Aduana Stars 2-2 Nsoatreman FC

In a penultimate Ghana Premier League clash on Sunday, Aduana Stars and Nsoatreman FC locked horns at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.

The fire boys hoped for a win but Nsoatreman FC proved to be a stronger opponent as both teams settled for a stalemate.

Nsoatreman FC were reduced to 10-man in the thrilling clash, but Maxwell Konadu and his charges showed resilience and determination to snatch a point at away.

Midfielder Abdul Manaf Umar and Daniel Afadzwu were given the marching orders in the 52nd and 54th minutes respectively.

Nsoatreman FC opened the scoring through Kwabena Meider after just 12 minutes into the game before Mohammed Abdul Rahaman doubled the advantage for the visitors six minutes later.

Five minutes to the halftime break, Issaka Mohammed scored to reduce the deficit for the home team.

After the break, Yussif Alhassan Chibsah found the back of the net after converting from the spot to secure a draw for the Ogya boys.

Aduana Stars have dropped to the third position on the league log with 50 points whiles Nsoatreman FC remains eighth on the standings with 47 points.

Nsoatreman FC will climax the Ghana Premier League campaign this weekend with Nations FC whiles Aduana Stars takes on Dreams FC in an away fixture.
