Ghanaian football powerhouse Hearts of Oak will kick off their 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign with a fixture against newly promoted Basake Holy Stars.
The match is set to take place at the Accra Sports Stadium between Friday, September 6, and Sunday, September 9, 2024. The season will conclude on June 7 or 8, 2025.
Having narrowly avoided relegation last season, the Phobians are eager to mount a serious title challenge this year.
Hearts of Oak will also feature in the first round of the Super Clash, facing off against their arch-rivals Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium between December 13 and 16, 2024.
The return leg is scheduled for the Accra Sports Stadium, with dates ranging from May 2 to 5, 2025.
In a dramatic end to the 2023/24 season, Hearts of Oak secured their Premier League status with a 3-2 victory over Bechem United at Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
They finished 14th in the league with 45 points from 34 matches, narrowly escaping relegation by just one point.
In preparation for the new season, the club has undergone a significant overhaul, parting ways with several players and bringing in new talent aimed at strengthening their squad and mounting a serious challenge for the title.
