Ghana FA Communication Officer Henry Asante Twum has expressed deep appreciation for the unwavering support of Kumasi fans ahead of the Black Stars’ crucial 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Angola.

Twum acknowledged the consistent enthusiasm of Kumasi fans, emphasizing how their energy and dedication have always inspired the team, especially during challenging times.

"It is very important over the years when we come to Kumasi Kumasiman Asanteman support us with their strength and soul to support the team. We don't think this time it has to change so we plead with Ghanaians that every time when we come the strength that they use to back us mostly when the boys are in camp they talk about it," he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com

"We will not take it for granted we have never taken it for granted we appreciate the support so we plead with them to come and support us with their soul and strength so that we start the qualifiers on a good note," he added.

Ghana will face Angola on September 5 at the Baba Yara Stadium, followed by an away match against Niger in Morocco on September 9.
