Ghana's head coach, Otto Addo, is determined to begin the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers on a high note.

Riding on the momentum from their successful FIFA World Cup qualifiers, Otto Addo is confident that the Black Stars will carry their winning form into the AFCON campaign.

The team commenced their preparations with a training session at the Accra Sports Stadium yesterday before heading to Kumasi to continue their build-up for the upcoming clashes.

Ghana is set to face Angola at the Baba Yara Stadium on September 5, followed by a crucial away match against Niger in Morocco on September 9. Midfielder Elisha Owusu will likely not play against Angola due to a muscle injury.

These qualifiers are vital for the Black Stars, as they aim to secure a spot in the continent's premier football tournament.

The top two teams from each group will earn automatic qualification, making every match critical for Ghana's AFCON aspirations.
