Ghana's head coach, Otto Addo, has outlined his tactical philosophy ahead of the pivotal 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Angola.

Speaking to Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com, Addo emphasized the importance of positioning and space recognition, stating, "For me it is like finding the right positions and recognizing the space when to go deep also the signals when we can pass when we can't pass. Working together having counter movements in our teams to distract the opponents then also bringing our opponent with our good positioning doubts where to go."

Addo recently announced his 23-man squad for the qualifiers, with the players commencing training at the Accra Sports Stadium yesterday. The team has now traveled to Kumasi to continue their preparations for the crucial clash.

The Black Stars are set to face Angola at the Baba Yara Stadium on September 5, before heading to Morocco to play Niger on September 9. The AFCON qualifiers are vital for Ghana, as they aim to secure a spot in the continent’s premier tournament.
