2025 AFCON Qualifiers: We’ll give our all to beat Angola – Ghana winger Fatawu Issahaku

Leicester City winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku says he and his Black Stars teammates will give their all in order to secure maximum points against Angola in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The Black Stars will play host to the Palancas Negras of Angola at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Thursday, September 5 before traveling to face Niger in Berkane, Morocco on September 9, 2025.

Ghana commenced preparation for the two crucial games on Monday at the Accra Sports with only ten players from the overall 23 players invited for the task ahead.

Players present at Monday's training included Thomas Partey, Tariq Lamptey, Joseph Wollacott, Ibrahim Osman, Jonas Adjetey, Antoine Semenyo, Brandon Thomas-Asante, Frederick Asare, Ebenezer Annan, and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku.

Speaking to the media after training, Issahaku expressed the Black Stars readiness for the upcoming games.

“We are ready to give our all for the nation. We are just going to give all and pick a win against Angola. We need the support from Ghanaians”

The Black Stars technical team are expecting full house on Tuesday before their departure to Kumasi, where they will face Angola.
