Ghana head coach Otto Addo has named his starting XI to face Angola in their first match of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The four time African champions are hosting the Palancas Negras at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Thursday, September 5, 2024.

Jordan Ayew has been handed a start alongside Elisha Owusu, who only participated in one training session.

Tariq Lamptey has also been handed a place at right back while Alidu Seidu is the left back.

Mohammed Salisu and Abdul Mumin are the two center backs.

Mohammed Kudus, Antoine Semenyo and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku play as the attackers alongside Jordan.

The game will kicked off at 16:00 GMT.

The Black Stars are currently without a point in Group F as they are yet to play a game but Sudan currently leads the group with three points after playing a day earlier.

The team, currently managed by former Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah, won 1-0 against Niger on Wednesday in Juba.
