Black Stars captain, Thomas Partey says facing Niger on neutral ground is not an advantage for them.

Ghana will face the Super Eagles in their second Group F game later today at the Stade Municipal de Berkane in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier.

The decision comes after CAF declared the facilities in Niger as being unplayable.

However, many fans believe the game being on neutral will give the Black Stars an advantage as they will avoid intimidation but Partey does not believe there is any such thing for Otto Addo's side.

"I don't think there is any advantage there [in playing the game in Morocco]," Partey said in an interview with SuperSport. "It all depends on how we approach the game.

"If we go with the approach to win, we go there to win because there are a lot of good players now and you can't underrate anyone."

Partey added that he has full belief in the current project and expects to hit top gear soon.

"I believe in all the players that come in the team; young and the quality that they have," he added. "I think all they need is our support and the support of every Ghanaian. I see from training the quality and I am really sure it's going to be massive."

Kick-off for the game is scheduled at 16:00GMT.

The Black Stars are aiming to secure their first win after suffering a 1-0 defeat against Angola last week Thursday at the Baba Yara Stadium.
