Ghana captain, Thomas Partey has called on his teammates to go all out and show their quality and win against Angola and Niger.

The Black Stars who are chasing their fifth continental title will get their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers underway later today with a game against the Palancras Nigras at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Following their opener, Otto Addo’s men will make a trip to Berkane in Morocco, where they will play their second Group F game against Niger on a neutral ground.

However, ahead of the games, Partey has charged his teammates to exhibit their quality and ensure they record wins as they hope to secure qualification for the tournament that will be hosted in Morocco next year.

“I think it will be difficult games but we have a good team. I have not watched our opponents but we have played against them and we know how difficult it is to play in Africa,” the 30-year-old told SuperSport

“I think we don’t have to be favourite but rather go out and show our quality and do our best and try to win because all we need is to qualify and if we don’t win, we don’t get to qualify so we have to go all out and win,” he added.

Kick-off for the game against Angola is scheduled for 16:00GMT.
