2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers: Otto Addo announces squad for Mali, Central African Republic games

Head coach of the Black Stars of Ghana, Otto Addo has announced his squad for the crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification matches against Mali and Central African Republic.

The coach met the press at the headquarters of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Wednesday to officially name his squad for the upcoming World Cup qualification matches.

In his squad key players including Baba Iddrisu, Inaki Williams, Majeed Ashimeru, Joseph Paintsil, Nathaniel Adjei, Denis Odoi and Daniel Amartey have been left out due to various injuries.

Meanwhile, Ibrahim Sulemana and Brandon Thomas Asante are the new additions on the national team.

Black Stars squad
Ghana will travel to Mali for the first of the two word cup qualification matches in June on Tuesday, June 4. That game will be played on Thursday, June 6.

Subsequently, the Black Stars will host Central African Republic at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on June 10.
