Black Stars midfielder Thomas Partey has expressed his readiness to leverage his experience to support the team's young players ahead of their crucial game against Mali.

Ghana will face Mali in Bamako tonight for their third match of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

After a challenging start to the qualifiers, the Black Stars must defeat Mali to keep their hopes of advancing to the World Cup alive.

So far, Ghana has secured one win and suffered one loss, placing them 5th in the standings with three points, following matches against Madagascar and Comoros.

Partey, who will captain the team against both Mali and the Central African Republic (CAR), shared his thoughts ahead of the game.

"I know I haven’t played recently for the team but I have played a lot of matches for the Black Stars since my debut.

"I have the experience to help the young group of players to get the kind of result we want," he added.

The match kicks off at 19:00 GMT. Ghana will then host CAR at the Baba Yara Stadium for their fourth qualifying game on June 10.
