Black Stars attacker, Mohammed Kudus has admitted that they understand the pressure that comes with playing for the senior national team the, Black Stars.

The 23-year-old featured in Ghana's matchday three games against Mali last week in Bamako in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Speaking ahead of the matchday four games against Central African Republic (CAR) later tonight at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kudus says they understand the pressure but their aim is to fight to secure qualification for the Mundial which will be hosted in the USA, Canada and Mexico.

"Obviously from our point of view, we have personal goals and things we want to do so intrinsically, we have pressure every time from our expectations from ourselves," the West Ham United attacker told the press on Sunday.

"Also we are representing the whole team and the whole of Ghana and so there is pressure from every angle but our motivation and our aim to qualify for the World Cup, so that is the motivation that gets us going in every pressure we find ourselves," he added.

The eagerly awaited game is scheduled to kick off at 19:00GMT. The Black Stars after the win against Mali are aiming for a win against CAR which will propel them to the top of Group I.
