Albert Amoah has expressed his excitement after joining Asante Kotoko from Accra Great Olympics on a three-year deal.

"I am thrilled to be here. I know Kotoko has had great strikers in the past, but now it is my time to build upon their legacy. While I may make mistakes and have off days, I urge the supporters to continually encourage me to strive for excellence," Amoah told Asante Kotoko's communications team.

The forward's signing marks Asante Kotoko's third acquisition in their strike force, following the arrivals of Abdoelkarem Yagoub and Elvis Kyei Baffour. Amoah completed his mandatory medical examination, and the Kumasi-based club announced his signing on Saturday.

Amoah had an impressive season last year, scoring five goals and providing three assists in 17 games. His attacking prowess and playmaking ability make him a valuable addition to Asante Kotoko as they aim to bolster their squad for the upcoming season.

Amoah is expected to strengthen Asante Kotoko's attack in the 2024/25 season. He will join his new teammates in preparation for the upcoming season and is likely to feature in Asante Kotoko's friendly game against Medeama next month.
