Head coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo has praised veteran Andre Ayew, describing him as a living legend.
Speaking to 3Sports in an interview, the national team head coach applauded Andre Ayew for sacrificing and doing so much for Ghana.
“I think it’s a normal question. He’s a player. I said it before. I mean, he’s a legend, living legend.
“He has done so much for the nation. He sacrificed so much for the nation. Good guy, with good character. I mean, he represents Ghana these days like no one has,” coach Otto Addo said.
In the interview, Coach Otto Addo said his decision to leave Andre Ayew out of the Black Stars squad for the June international break was in the best interest of the national team.
“But, surely, as a coach, I have to think and I have to think about the Ghana national team, what’s best for the Ghana national team,” Otto Addo added.
Meanwhile, Coach Otto Addo has indicated that the doors to the Black Stars are not completely shut to Andre Ayew.
