Asante Kotoko announce the signing of Ghana defender Joseph Ablorh

Ghanaian giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko have announced the signing of defender Joseph Ablorh as they continue their squad rebuild for the upcoming season.

The Ghanaian defender joins the Porcupine Warriors from on a two-year deal from Guinea Premier League club Hafia FC.

Asante Kotoko announced Ablorh's signing on Wednesday via a statement on the club's website.

"Asante Kotoko is delighted to announce the signing of 26-year-old Joseph Ablorh on a two-year contract, following the successful completion of his medical examination in Accra," the statement said.

Before adding, "Joseph Ablorh was a standout player for Hafia FC, recognized for his strong tackling, aerial prowess, and leadership qualities.

"His stellar performances in the 2020/2021 Guinean top-flight season earned him a spot in the Team of the Season, underscoring his reliability and impact on the field."

Asante Kotoko are signing these players to fill the void left by the departure of over 20 players at the end of the season.
