Asante Kotoko's head coach, Prosper Ogum, has heaped praise on the club's latest acquisition, Albert Amoah, for his energy and creative abilities on the field.

"Albert is a player who brings a lot of energy and creativity to the field. His ability to both score and set up goals makes him a versatile forward that will fit well into our tactical plans. We have been following his progress closely, and we believe he has the potential to make a significant impact at Kotoko. We are delighted to welcome him to the club," Ogum stated in an interview with Asante Kotoko's communications team.

Amoah joins Asante Kotoko from Accra Great Olympics on a three-year deal, marking the club's third addition to their strike force this season, following the signings of Abdoelkarem Yagoub and Elvis Kyei Baffour.

The forward successfully completed his mandatory medical, and the Kumasi-based club announced his signing on Saturday.

Last season, Amoah had an impressive performance, scoring five goals and providing three assists in 17 games.

His attacking prowess and playmaking ability are expected to be valuable assets for Asante Kotoko as they strengthen their squad for the upcoming 2024/25 season.

Amoah will join his new teammates in preparation for the season and is likely to feature in Asante Kotoko's friendly game against Medeama next month.
