He has penned a two-year deal to join APR FC, keeping him at the club until 2026 and is expected to play a huge role for the team.

Lamptey joined the Ghanaian giants in August 2021 after ending his spell with Inter Allies.

Lamptey was limited to just 17 games in the recently concluded Ghana Premier League campaign due to injury setbacks. He showcased his importance to the Kotoko team despite injuries woes.

Noted for his passing accuracy, Lamptey is expected to play a significant role for APR in the upcoming campaign.

The move marks a new chapter in Lamptey's career, and he is eager to make an impact in the Rwandan Premier League.

Lamptey was named in the Black Stars squad for AFCON 2023, where Ghana bowed out at group stage following their catastrophic performance.
