Beach Soccer AFCON qualifiers: CAF appoints referees for Ghana’s clash with Ivory Coast on Sunday

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed referees and assistant referees to take charge of the crucial Beach Soccer AFCON qualifying first-leg encounter between Ghana and Ivory Coast.

The crucial encounter is scheduled for the Emancipation Beach Arena in Keta on Sunday, July 21.

The two West African neighbours are aiming to secure a spot to participate in the upcoming Beach Soccer AFCON tournament set to take place in Egypt this year.

According to a communique from the Ghana FA, “Leading the officiating team is Libyan Referee Ezuldeen Mohammed Ateeyh with support from his compatriots Emad Abdullah Sulayman and Ayoob Alfurjani with Sulayman Husayn as the Timekeeper.”

Meanwhile, “Virginia Mendes Da Cruz from Guinea Bissau is the Match Commissioner for the first leg encounter between the two sides.”

The upcoming match between Ghana and Ivory Coast will kick off at 3 pm on Sunday.
