Ghana FA Cup champions Bechem United are on the verge of sealing a deal with FIFA U-20 world cup winning goalkeeper Daniel Agyei ahead of their participation in the 2017 CAF Confederation Cup.
The former Liberty Professional goalie is available on a free transfer after his short-term contract with Medeama expired at the end of the season in which he dislodged long-standing number one Muntari Tagoe.
Speaking in an interview with Happy FM, owner of Bechem United Kingsley Owusu Achaw confirmed his club is close to sealing a deal with the 26 year old. "We are in Talks with Daniel Agyei but not a done deal.”
Bechem United will represent Ghana at next year's CAF Confederation Cup after beating second-tier side Okwahu United to clinch the 2016 FA Cup crown.
