The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced that the Black Stars will conduct their training session at 5:30 pm today at the Baba Yara Stadium, in preparation for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Angola.

This was revealed by the GFA Communication Director, Henry Asante Twum.

According to Twum, the schedule has been arranged to accommodate Angola's training session at the match venue, which is set for 4:00 pm.

"The schedule is we will later in the evening because Angola will have to train at the kick off time which is 4:00 pm. So Angola will train at 4 pm and we will train 5:30 pm tentatively if we meet the match commissioner our proposal is Angola's media engagement will be at 3:30 and ours will be 5:00 pm," he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com

The Black Stars now have a full squad with the late arrivals of Jordan Ayew and Elisha Owusu, who joined their teammates this morning. The team commenced their first training session on Tuesday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Ghana is set to face Angola at the Baba Yara Stadium on September 5, before traveling to take on Niger in Morocco on September 9. These AFCON qualifiers are vital for the Black Stars as they strive to secure a spot in Africa's premier football tournament. The top two countries from each group will qualify automatically for the competition.
