Bofoakwa Tano coach John Eduafo has opened up on his future following the closure of the 2023/24 football campaign.
Eduafo replaced Frimpong Manso, who was shown the exit door halfway season following the club’s inconsistent performance.
Speaking about his future following the closure of the season, Eduafo said, “I’m yet to decide on my future. Although I am under contract with them we need to sort few things out to decide whether I will continue with my job or we part ways”
The Sunyani-based club bottled the FA Cup title on Sunday after succumbing to a defeat against Nsoatreman FC in the final played at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
Bofoakwa Tano took an early lead in the 22nd minute through a well-placed goal by Richard Dzikoe but Nsoatreman FC showed resilience to pull parity eleven minutes later through Sadat Mohammed.
Despite both teams creating numerous opportunities, neither could find the back of the net during the additional 30 minutes, leading to a tense penalty shootout.
Nsoatreman SC held their nerve and emerged victorious with a 5-4 scoreline, sparking jubilant celebrations among their players and supporters.
Having failed to maintain their status, Bofoakwa Tano are expected to feature in the Division One League next season.
