Celtic submit €6m bid to sign Ghana striker Caleb Ekuban from Trabzonspor

Scottish giants, Celtic have submitted a bid of €6m to sign Ghana striker, Caleb Ekuban from Trabzonspor.

The dynamic forward has been a target for Scottish Premiership side in the ongoing summer transfer window.

Trabzonspor are determined to only let Ekuban depart for a fee of €7m.

An earlier €5m bid submitted by Celtic was rejected by Trabzonspor.

However, Neil Lenon, who is the manager of Celtic is determined to strengthen his side with the addition of Ekuban.

Ekuban has scored 10 goals and provided 11 assists in his 34 game appearances in all competitions for Trabzonspor in the just-concluded season.

His contract with the Senol Gunes Stadium outfit will expire in June 2022.

The Italian-born forward has capped four times for Ghana at the international stage and has scored twice.
