Schalke’s sporting director, Marc Wilmots, has lauded the club’s newest signing, Ghanaian winger Christopher Antwi-Adjei, following his move from Bundesliga side Bochum.

Wilmots praised Antwi-Adjei for his speed, agility, and extensive experience, expressing optimism that the winger will be a key addition to Schalke both on and off the field.

The 30-year-old Black Stars forward has signed a two-year deal with FC Schalke, who are playing in the Bundesliga 2, with the contract set to run out at the end of the season 2025/26 season.

“Christopher’s style of play and his personality are a great fit for our team,” Wilmots said. “His pace and agility will add more options to our game, and his experience will benefit us greatly. He is eager to take on this new challenge and help Schalke continue moving forward.”

Antwi-Adjei, who has spent much of his career in Germany, has previously played for clubs including Paderborn and Bochum.
