Asante Kotoko assistant coach, David Ocloo says his side will continue their dominance over Hearts of Oak.

The two clubs will clash in the maiden Democracy Cup later tonight at the Accra Sports Stadium.

In a press conference ahead of the match on Tuesday, July 16, Ocloo bragged about his side’s readiness and eagerness to beat their rivals.

“I can tell you we have prepared well," he said. "We will infuse the new with the old players.

"They’re going to give us a good match, and we are going to take the cup. We have beaten them twice already, and we are ready to beat them again," he added.

Asante Kotoko in the ended 2023/24 Ghana Premier League recorded back-to-back wins against Hearts of Oak.

The game is scheduled to kick off at 18:00GMT.

Before the main game between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko, former Black Stars players will face Parliamentarians in a mini-friendly at 13:00GMT.

The winner of the game between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko will represent Ghana in a friendly match against DC United in Washington.

The game is in commemoration of 30 years of Parliamentary Democracy under the Fourth Republic.
