Ebusua Dwarfs have parted ways with six players ahead of the resumption of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season.

Dwarfs have released these players as they look to prune down their squad and bring in new players to strengthen the team.

The players are goalkeeper Stephen Awere, Jacob Apretwum, Isaac Donkor, Osei Afriyie, Emmanuel Owusu and Bokuo Hayford.

They were released due to poor performances according to close source and the decision has been communicated to them already.

The Cape Coast based side are expected to announce the signings of new players in the coming days to fill the void.

Ebusua Dwarfs are currently 16th on the league table with 15 points, just one adrift the relegation zone after 15 matches played thus far.

Meanwhile, the Ghana Football Association has suspended all its competitions with immediate effect until further notice following the directives given by the President of the Republic due to the outbreak of coronavirus in the country.
