FC Samartex coach Nurudeen Amadu has named his striker Evans Osei Wusu as his 2023/24 Ghana Premier League Player of the Season.
The 23-year-old has scored 11 goals in 27 games on their way to winning their first ever Ghanaian top flight title.
“There were a few key players who were outstanding when I got there,” Amadu told Akoma FM.
“Even though Evans was incredibly talented, until I gave him some coaching drills, his style of play was predictable.
“He can now score after increasing his effectiveness in front of goal since then.
“Emmanuel Keyekeh is also a very good player and has had a great season. It will be tough to choose but I will choose Evans as my best player at Samartex.”
The Samreboi-based wrapped up the title with two games to spare on Sunday afternoon after beating Bibiani Gold Stars 1-0.
