FC Drita aims to reunite Raddy Ovouka and Salifu Ibrahim as Hearts of Oak part ways with key player

Kosovo powerhouse, FC Drita, is reportedly planning to bring together Raddy Ovouka and his former Hearts of Oak teammate, Salifu Ibrahim, according to Ghana Sports Page.

The club has allegedly agreed to terms to secure the 24-year-old midfielder on a free transfer for the impending season.

Salifu Ibrahim, previously with Techiman Eleven Wonders, has not renewed his contract with Hearts of Oak, which recently expired. Despite his pivotal role in the team's campaign last season, contract renewal talks stalled when he requested a post-tax salary of $2500 per month. The club's inability to meet this demand led to a disagreement between the player's agent and the club over the suggested salary.

During his tenure with Hearts of Oak under Samuel Boadu, Salifu Ibrahim clinched the Premier League title, two FA Cups, and the Super Cup.

As the new season approaches, Hearts of Oak is preparing to release underperforming players, having narrowly avoided relegation on the final day of the last season.
