French Ligue 1 outfit RC Lens will consider transferring Ghana international midfielder Salis Abdul Samed this summer, Footballghana.com can exclusively report.

According to reports, Lens are seeking €100 million from the transfer market to fund their operations ahead of the 2024/25 season and are therefore ready to sanction the sale of the Ghanaian midfielder.

The Black Stars midfield enforcer is among seven players who could be sold this summer by Lens. Samed is valued at €8million.

The 24-year-old Ghanaian current contract with Lens will elapse in the summer of 2028 after recently extending his stay last year.

After arriving from Clermont Foot in 2022, Samed initially proved vital for Lens, helping the club to finish second on the French Ligue 1 standings in the 2022/23 season and also securing Champions League qualification.

Unfortunately, the Ghanaian international struggled to maintain consistency, and was limited to few games in the just ended season.

He made 35 appearances in the just ended season, coming on as substitute in most of the games.

Meanwhile, Samed was named in the Black Stars squad for the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifying games against Mali and Central Africa Republic.
