Friendly with Japan is very important – Black Queens midfielder Azumah Bugre

Black Queens midfielder, Azumah Bugre has shared her view on Ghana’s upcoming international friendly match against Japan.

According to the IFK Norrkoping, the high-profile friendly match is very important for the Black Queens as it will help the team to assess and know its level.

Speaking to journalists at the Accra Sports Stadium before the Black Queens departed Ghana for Japan, Azumah Bugre said she is looking forward to the top clash.

“Japan is one of the best women’s football teams in the world so having a friendly game with them is actually going to give us a fair and clear view of where the team is, where we are supposed to level and where we are supposed to maintain,” the Black Queens midfielder said.

Ghana takes on Japan away from home on Saturday, July 13.

The high-profile encounter will be played at the Kanazawa Go Go Curry Stadium.
