Ghana international Joel Fameyeh has left Russian top-flight club Baltika Kaliningrad following the end of his loan spell.

The 27-year-old Ghanaian attacker joined Baltika in February on a short term deal from fellow Russian club Rubin Kazan.

The former Black Stars striker racked up four goals and delivered an assist in 18 games in the Russian Premier League. In all competitions, he managed 24 appearances for Baltika and contributed five goals.

Following the expiration of his loan deal, Fameyeh will return to parent club Rubin Kazan to continue his trade with the club.

The former Asokwa Deportivo forward current contract with Rubin Kazan will elapse in summer 2025.

Fameyeh missed out on the current Black Stars for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Mali and Central Africa Republic after failing to impress in the just ended campaign.

He has racked up two goals for the Black Stars in 6 games since making his debut for the national team.
