Ghana star, Mohammed Kudus is set to play one more game for West Ham United before joining his Black Stars teammates in camp to prepare for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

As announced by the Ghana Football Association (GFA), the Black Stars will assemble in Kumasi to camp for 10 days before travelling to Ivory Coast for the 2023 AFCON.

After helping West Ham United to beat Arsenal 2-0 in the English Premier League on Thursday night, Mohammed Kudus was expected to travel to Ghana this weekend.

However, new information gathered indicates that West Ham United wants him to stay and play in the next game against Brighton & Hove Albion before leaving for the 2023 AFCON.

A discussion has already been initiated with the Ghana FA on the matter.

Mohammed Kudus, 23, will now travel to Ghana for the Black Stars camping in Kumasi on Tuesday night immediately after the match between West Ham and Brighton.
