Ghana striker Jordan Ayew features in Crystal Palace’s behind-closed-doors friendly against Bournemouth

Ghana international, Jordan Ayew was in action for Crystal Palace over the weekend when the team engaged AFC Bournemouth in a pre-season friendly match.

In the game played behind closed doors, Jordan Ayew and his teammates wore their brand new 'Eagle Yellow' shirt.

The Black Stars forward put in impressive work in the friendly as several players had the chance to audition for head coach Oliver Glasner.

After the friendly against Bournemouth, Crystal Palace is expected to play a number of games in the off-season as part of the preparations for the start of the 2024/25 football season.

Some of the friendly matches lined up include games against Charlton Athletic, Crawley, Wolverhampton Wanders and West Ham United.

Jordan Ayew, 32, is likely to feature in all games to prove himself worthy of a starting role in the upcoming season.
