Ghanaian players abroad: Inaki Williams wins Copa del Rey title, Caleb Ekuban scores as Jeffrey Schlupp provides assist

Ghanaian players were in action over the weekend across Europe, with some putting up some outstanding performances.

Inaki Williams has won the Spanish Cup title, with Caleb Ekuban scoring for Genoa while Jeffrey Sclupp came off the bench to provide an assist for Crystal Palace against Man City.

Premier League round 32

Jeffrey Schlupp came off the bench to provide an assist for Crystal Palace though they went on to lose 4-2 to champions Man City.

Jordan Ayew was taken off after 74 minutes for Michael Olise to come on.

Forward Antoine Semenyo was taken off after 69 minutes for Bournemouth as they went on to lose 2-1 against Luton.

Mohammed Kudus played the entire game for West Ham as the Hammers edged Wolves 2-1 at Molineux.

Thomas Partey was an unused substitute for Arsenal as they cruised to a 3-0 win over Brighton. Tariq Lamptey committed the penalty leading the opening goal.

Copa del Rey

Inaki Williams and his brother Nico helped Athletic Club win the Copa del Rey title by beating Mallorca 4-2 on penalties after the game ended 1-1. Nico provided the assist for the equalizer.

Serie A round 31

Emmanuel Gyasi played the full 90 minutes for Empoli as they claimed a 3-2 win over Torino.

Ibrahim Sulemana played the entire game for Cagliari as they won 2-1 against Atalanta, coming from behind.

Caleb Ekuban scored the equaliser for Genoa as they went on to win 2-1 against Hellas Verona. That was his third goal of the season in the league.

Bundesliga round 28

Christopher Antwi-Adjei was a late substitute for Bochum as they conceded twice in stoppage time to lose 2-1 to Koln.

Benjamin Henrichs lasted 75 minutes for Leipzig as they won 4-1 against Freiburg.

Braydon Manu played the first half for Darmstadt as they lost 4-0 to Mainz.

French Ligue 1 round 28

Salis Abdul Samed played 45 minutes for Lens while Andre Ayew last 74 minutes for Le Havre in a 1-1 draw.

Nathaniel Adjei played the entire game for Lorient as they lost 2-0 to Montpellier.

Ernest Nuamah lasted 74 minutes for Lyon as they won 3-1 win against Nantes.
