Ghanaian starlet Issaka 'Baba' Seidu has signed a long-term contract with Danish Super Liga side FC Nordsjaelland, the club has announced.

Arriving from the renowned Ghanaian-based Right to Dream Academy, the 18-year-old agile left-back caught the eye of FC Nordsjaelland's technical handlers with his unique playing style.

Seidu is the latest player from the Right to Dream Academy to join FC Nordsjaelland during the ongoing transfer window, following the acquisitions of Araphat Mohammed, Caleb Yirenkyi, Levy Nene, and Stephen Acquah.

In a statement, FC Nordsjaelland confirmed the signing, stating, “18-year-old 'Baba' is an agile left-back who will join the Superliga squad in the new season, as the young defender has signed a contract with FC Nordsjælland.

“Therefore, he will be in Farum when the Superliga team returns from holiday on June 24.”

Seidu is set to kick off his new football journey at FC Nordsjaelland later this month during the club's pre-season training for the 2024–25 campaign. Notably, he has yet to represent Ghana at any level.
