Crystal Palace secured a resounding 6-3 victory against Crawley Town in a preseason friendly on Saturday, with Ghanaian trio Jordan Ayew, Jeffery Schlupp, and Jesurun Rak-Sakyi all getting on the scoresheet.

The match, held at the Broadfield Stadium, was part of the Eagles' preparation for the upcoming 2024/25 season.

Rak-Sakyi stood out with a brace, scoring in the 4th and 27th minutes. Ayew and Schlupp added to the tally, scoring in the 65th and 86th minutes, respectively. Odsonne Edouard opened the scoring for Palace in the 2nd minute, and Daichi Kamada added another in the 12th minute. Crawley Town's goals came from Rushian Hepburn-Murphy, who scored twice, and Jack Roles.

Crystal Palace has been actively preparing for the new season, having already faced Sutton United, Bournemouth, and Charlton in previous friendlies.

The team is set to take on Wolverhampton Wanderers on August 1st, West Ham on August 3rd, and French side Nantes on August 11th in their upcoming preseason matches. Their Premier League campaign will commence on August 18th against Brentford.
