Hearts of Oak to commission new secretariat and Kpobiman Academy soon, says Togbe Afede

Togbe Afede, the majority shareholder of Hearts of Oak, has announced that the newly constructed secretariat, which has been handed over to the board, will be commissioned shortly.

This modern facility is set to enhance the administrative operations of the club. Additionally, Togbe Afede revealed that the board is also preparing to commission the Kpobiman Academy.

The handover ceremony took place at the facility’s Adabraka location, where the state-of-the-art building was presented to the board led by Executive Chairman Togbe Afede.

The event saw the presence of Managing Director, including Vincent Sowah Odotei, and other board members as they toured the facility with the media.

Speaking to reporters after the ceremony, Togbe Afede said, “This is a demonstration of our commitment to building a solid infrastructural base for Accra Hearts of Oak.

"Sooner than later will be commissioning this place and soon after we will be commissioning the Kpobiman Academy as well the two together is further demonstration of our commitment to building a prestigious club in Africa."

The completed project is set to become the club’s center of business in the near future.

Described as an ultra-modern facility, the Phobia House will house various offices of the club, marking the first of its kind by any team in Ghana.

Hearts of Oak have not had a great season last year and would be hoping these infrastructure developments if inspire them to success in the upcoming season.
