Hearts of Oak want to achieve a lot at the end of the of the upcoming season – Benjamin Asare

Hearts of Oak goalkeeper, Benjamin Asare has revealed that the Phobians aim to achieve a lot of things in the upcoming season.

The experienced goalkeeper joined Hearts of Oak from rivals Great Olympics following the conclusion of the previous season.

Speaking after helping the Phobians win the 2024 Homowo Cup, Asare said the target of the club is to achieve bigger things in the forthcoming season.

“The league is the most important thing. It is now we are coming together to begin preparations toward the start of the Ghana Premier League.

“We thank God we won the Homowo Cup and I am happy that I came to a club like Hearts of Oak and won a first trophy.

“I am expecting that at the end of the season or at the end of the league, a lot of things can happen for us.

Hearts of Oak departed left the shores of Ghana on Wednesday to Togo to continue with their pre-season ahead of the 2024/25 Ghana football season.

The club has lined up some other friendly matches including one against Togolese champions ASKO Kara with an official date to be communicated very soon.

Hearts of Oak will open their 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season with a home game against debutant side, Basake Holy Stars.
