Hearts of Oak will be competitive next season - Vincent Sowah Odotei assures fans

Hearts of Oak Board Member, Vincent Sowah-Odotei, has assured that they will do everything to ensure they are competitive next season.

The Phobian Club endured a torrid campaign last season having worked with three different coaches. Hearts of Oak finished in the 14th position with 45 points.

With the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign set to kick off on September 6, Mr Sowah-Odotei says they will recruit players that will make them competitive next campaign.

“We are on track, it is not a simple, lineal thing, there are so many factors that come into play but we think that we are trying to manage all those factors to make that by the beginning of the season, we will have the strength in squad to make sure that we are that we think that can make us competitive," he told ChannelOne TV after the handing over ceremony of the newly built Phobia House.

Hearts of Oak have so far signed Benjamin Asare, Samuel Amofa, Michael Awuah, and Asamoah Boateng Afriyie.

Meanwhile, the Rainbow Club will get their season underway with a home game against Basake Holy Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium.
